Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced team. This position offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of the financial health of our company. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting operations, including General Ledger, Netsuite, and other accounting systems. This role is integral to our success, and we're looking for someone who is ready to step up, take charge, and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
3. Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
4. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
5. Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
6. Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
7. Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
8. Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
9. Work with the finance team to evaluate and implement Netsuite and other financial systems as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Accountant position should have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
2. Proven experience as a senior accountant with 3+ years in accounting
3. Solid experience with General Ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
4. Hands-on experience with accounting software like Netsuite.
5. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
9. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
10. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
