Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a unique opportunity to play a vital role in our company's revenue operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust financial systems, procedures, and policies. This person will be the "go to" person across the organization for all things revenue.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the Revenue process from new contract entry through transition away from service.
2. Implement and enforce ASC 606, Revenue Accounting, and other accounting standards and regulations.
3. Manage the contract management process, including the review and processing of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
4. Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Utilize NetSuite and other financial software to streamline and automate financial operations.
6. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
7. Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
8. Participate in the ongoing strategic planning of the company.
9. Review monthly customer invoices created by accounts receivable clerk for accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
3. Proven experience with ASC 606, Revenue Accounting, SaaS, NetSuite, Contract Management, and Invoicing.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Excellent computer skills with experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel.
6. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
10. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
