Senior Accountant

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dedicated team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be:

1. Preparing and analyzing financial reports to ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.
2. Overseeing the auditing of financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns.
3. Directing internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
4. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
5. Providing insights on the financial health of the organization.
6. Ensuring compliance with accounting laws and procedures, analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and forecasting future budget needs.
7. Implementing and improving financial management systems, processes and controls.
8. Providing leadership, guidance, and support to junior accounting staff.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should possess:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior accounting role.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
4. Proven experience in Public Accounting.
5. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, tax laws, and cost control principles.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
9. Good problem-solving and time management skills.
10. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of accounting software.
