Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our company. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in regular tax audits and payroll.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
4. Ensuring the company’s financial records are complete, accurate and in compliance with accepted accounting principles and standards.
5. Managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
6. Analyzing financial data to identify our company’s financial status and performance.
7. Collaborating with financial team and other departments to develop efficient and effective financial strategies.
8. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of education, experience and skills, including:

1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a must.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the technology industry.
4. Proven experience with accounting software, databases and financial tools.
5. An understanding of all aspects of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other areas of accounting.
6. Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles, laws and best practices.
7. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
8. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
9. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
