Senior Accountant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in accounting, finance or a related field
• CPA or EA license is a plus
• Strong self-motivation and self-management skills, proactive and fast learning ability
• Demonstrated analytical skills and keen insights into problem-solving and data analysis
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with an international accounting firm is a plus
• Big Plus: Ability to understand and/or speak Mandarin as there are colleagues overseas in China

Job Duties:

• Possess a solid understanding of Fixed Assets, Pre-paids, Accounting for Leases, Audit Schedules, Property Tax, and Sales & Use Tax.
• Month-end activities, recurring monthly journal entries, GL & account reconciliation, Fixed Assets & Accruals.
• Post intercompany transactions and reconcile inter-company balances.
• Focus on G&A (General & Administrative operating expenses) cost center analysis, reconciliation, variance analysis, and reporting to Department Managers.
• Bank reconciliation & daily bank updates.
• Account analysis to review monthly variances between actual and budgeted expenses.
• Financial reporting, preparation of supporting schedules & data analysis.
• Assist with corporate consolidation and subsidiary eliminations.
