Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
3. Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.
4. Analyze financial reports and identify financial performance trends.
5. Develop comprehensive financial forecasts and models to aid in business planning, decision-making, and management reporting.
6. Coordinate the budgeting process and prepare budgetary reports.
7. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
8. Conduct audit processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
9. Leverage QuickBooks for efficient and accurate financial management.
10. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
11. Train and mentor junior staff in financial processes and tools.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
3. Extensive knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting and budgeting.
4. Proven expertise in public accounting and internal controls.
5. Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
11. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
