We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting and financial activities, including financial analysis, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will have a wide range of responsibilities that will contribute to the overall success of the company. These responsibilities include:

1. Overseeing all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
2. Conducting thorough financial analysis to help drive business decisions and strategy.
3. Managing the general ledger and ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
4. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
5. Coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax filings.
6. Researching accounting issues for compliance and efficiency.
7. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances.
8. Supporting month-end and year-end close process.
9. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
10. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on the manufacturing industry. The following qualifications are required:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
3. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
4. Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. High proficiency in financial analysis and financial statement preparation.
6. Extensive experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
7. Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
8. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
9. Accuracy and attention to detail.
10. Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
