We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to our organization's financial health. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and distributing departmental financial statements and budgets, ensuring the organization's financial operations are in line with industry standards and regulations.

**Responsibilities**

1. Prepare, monitor, and distribute departmental financial statements and budgets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Establish, prepare, implement, revise, and maintain accounting policies and procedures related to company operations.
3. Prepare and process annual escheat filing with NC Secretary of State.
4. Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures on 340B purchasing processes.
5. Participate in any and all 340B audits, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
6. Ensure that facilities maintain adherence to 340B Program regulations and guidelines.
7. Develop a thorough understanding of the 340B Program by continuously building knowledge of the health care and pharmacy services industry.
8. Work collaboratively with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency.

**Qualifications**

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Medical industry.
3. Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
4. Proficient in accounting software, MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
5. Experience with 340B Program regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
