We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the Legal industry, where you will get the chance to shape and drive our organization's financial success. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control systems.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and statements to senior management, board members, and stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain QuickBooks accounting system to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, financial modeling, and decision making.
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting, direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting.
  • Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls.
  • Mentor and develop a team of junior finance professionals, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
  • Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Review all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the Legal industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
  • Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a hands-on approach and lead by example attitude.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are mandatory.
  • Able to work in a multicultural team and to foster teamwork.
