We are looking for a great accountant who will support the company’s external financial reporting process. This includes:

• Preparation of external financial statements and disclosures as required by the Securities and Exchange Commission
• Year-end financial audit process with external auditors.
• SOX compliance and assist in the coordination of the annual audit and quarterly review activities with the external auditors.
• Prepare workpapers supporting filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission that are complete and accurate.
• Assist in the review of XBRL taxonomy for the Company’s Form 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K.
• Assist with month-end close and other operational accounting processes (lease, share-based compensation, and debt accounting), including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and related schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 3+ years of experience
• Experience with financial accounting systems (Intacct helpful).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office required.
• Excels working in a start-up, fast-paced environment; change ready.
• Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner.
• Readiness to embrace and drive process improvements/efficiencies.
• CPA or Master’s Degree highly desirable
