We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our company by maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of our company’s various financial reports.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our company by maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of our company’s various financial reports.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including payroll, monthly close procedures, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes and controls as well as GAAP rules and regulations.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience. "Big 4" experience preferred.
- Proven expertise in executing monthly close procedures and deliverables in compliance with GAAP.
- Demonstrated ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.
- Proficient in payroll management.
- Strong working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High integrity and openness combined with a commitment to good governance.
