Senior Accountant

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced technology company. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, participating in strategic data analysis, financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and financial forecasting.
• Prepare and present financial reports in accordance with GAAP, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Analyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Implement, manage, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
• Perform financial audits, prepare audit reports, and recommend improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies for cost savings and financial efficiency.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
• Assist in the development of the budget and financial plans for the company.
• Collaborate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Use QuickBooks to manage financial processes and generate reports.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's leaders to help them make sound business decisions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and current financial legislation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the technology industry.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
