Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their expertise in a fast-paced and innovative financial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, with 10-12 years of experience managing client responsibilities, and relevant in-house experience.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, including:

1. Overseeing the execution of financial audits and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
2. Preparation and review of financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
3. Managing flow-through taxation, high-net-worth (HNW) tax, and multi-state tax.
4. Providing strategic financial guidance based on periodic financial analysis and forecasts.
5. Assisting in the development of internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures.
6. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial operations and processes.
7. Leading and mentoring junior accounting staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
8. Staying updated with industry trends and current accounting standards.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA designation is highly preferred.
2. A minimum of 10-12 years’ experience with a public accounting firm, with primary client responsibility.
3. At least 3 years of relevant in-house experience.
4. Proficiency in flow-through taxation, HNW tax, and multi-state tax.
5. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
6. Exceptional analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.
7. Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software.
10. Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines.
