Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will:

1. Manage the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for monthly general ledger close.
2. Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements.
3. Ensure compliance with ASC842 lease accounting standards.
4. Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
5. Review and analyze financial results and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
6. Assist in coordinating semi-annual audits and help in meeting audit deadlines.
7. Evaluate accounting and internal control systems and implement improvements.
8. Participate in strategic financial projects including upgrades/implementation of Microsoft Dynamics.
9. Support budget and forecasting activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Accountant role should have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics is strongly preferred.
4. Solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
5. Experience with ASC842 lease accounting standards is preferred.
6. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other applicable regulatory rules, regulations, and requirements.
