Senior Project Accountant - Growing Construction Firm!

Our rapidly expanding construction client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and analytical professional to join a forward-thinking company where you can make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain General Ledger
2. Unit job costing
3. Set up track contracts, subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders
4. Review budget-to-actuals and commitments on project-to-date
5. Review construction applications for payment and prepare draw against contract via AIA or invoices/lien releases
6. Responsible for monthly cash reconciliation
7. Prepare final trial balances for reporting and tax returns

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's Degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. 2+ years relevant experience.
3. Strong understanding of accounting theory and experience with general ledger functions.
4. High proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
