RN School Nurse


What you will be doing:

• Medication administration for 13 - 18 yr olds
• There are about 5-6 students who have scheduled medications.   There are many students with "PRN" or "as needed" medication orders and the RN will do assessments when students come to the office with a medical complaint.  The RN may administer the PRN medications or create another plan of care.
• The RN communicates with guardians and health care providers regularly, manages the supply of medications on-site, manages emergency health care orders and plans for students with allergies/asthma or other potentially serious conditions

Skills you need:

• Active RN license
• Adolescent experience or psych experience highly preferred
• School RN experience preferred, but not required
