We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Permanent Scale Master. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in the energy industry and play a crucial role in our operations. As a Permanent Scale Master, you will be responsible for managing the weighing operations, processing payments, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in weighmaster duties, balancing cash drawers, scale operating, posting payments, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all weigh station operations, ensuring that all procedures and regulations are followed.
2. Accurately weigh trucks entering and exiting the facility using the scale systems and ensure accurate data entry into the system.
3. Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and any discrepancies are resolved.
4. Post payments promptly and accurately, maintaining complete records of all transactions.
5. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
6. Maintain a thorough understanding of all company products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
7. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
8. Participate in regular training and professional development activities to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy industry.
2. Proven experience as a weighmaster, with a strong understanding of scale operations and related equipment.
3. Excellent skills in balancing cash drawers and posting payments, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues efficiently.
5. Proficient in the use of computer systems and software, including data entry and record-keeping.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in a related field will be considered an advantage.
