Sales Representative needed at leading transportation and logistics company located near Kansas City. This is a role that requires some experience selling in 3PL, transportation / logistics industry. Prior experience is preferred but would be willing to train the industry for a candidate who has the right attitude and motivation.

Job Details

DUTIES:
  • Develop account relationships with contacts at multiple levels within customer organization via calling and face-to-face visits
  • Cold Call and sell into customer pipeline
  • Meet and exceed progressive sale goals
  • Identify opportunities to further penetrate accounts by selling a large service portfolio
  • Design solutions and help customers solve their supply challenges through face to face interaction with accounts
  • Prepare pricing options and receive support from the account leadership team

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 1+ years of Freight Brokerage sales experience, or working for a 3PL logistics provider preferred
  • Would be willing to train the industry for candidates who have the right attitude and transferable skills
  • Experience in new account development and head hunter sales preferred
