We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Permanent Sales Representative with a proven track record in sales to join our growing team in the manufacturing industry. This role requires an individual with a strong passion for sales, exceptional negotiation skills, and an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas. This position offers a competitive salary, commission structure, and a comprehensive benefits package. Experience with selling flexible packaging or similar related fields.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cold calling to prospective clients to generate new business opportunities.
  • Manage and develop a given sales territory, ensuring maximum market penetration.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize strong prospecting skills to identify potential clients and convert them into long-term customers.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our flexible packaging products and services to effectively sell to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, including information on sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote our products and services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional materials.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Travel Required throughout the Midwest region.
  • Proven experience in cold calling, territory sales, meeting quotas, outside sales, and prospecting.
  • Strong knowledge of flexible packaging is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome sales obstacles and challenges.
  • Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
