Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations and finance departments to develop and implement strategies that drive sales growth.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting and report to the senior management on sales performance and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales applications.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies.
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of leading and motivating sales teams to achieve their targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
