POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As part of a dynamic international robot manufacturer, we are seeking qualified individuals for a full-time Robotics Engineering position.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate directly with division management, sales teams, end users, and system integrators to deliver expert support, including programming assistance, cycle optimization, and training.
Conduct on-site programming services at customer locations throughout North America, proposing concept and solution adaptations utilizing various technologies such as vision, conveyor tracking, and safety.
Provide training sessions to customers and partners.
Maintain daily reporting in our CRM system to monitor project progress, with technical reports generated at the conclusion of each service visit.
Ensure consistent and quality service delivery through frequent communication with customers.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Alternatively, an Associate degree with relevant automation work experience.
Experience:

Preferred three years of automation and/or robotics experience.
Travel:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to obtain or possess a valid passport.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
COMPETENCIES:

Proficient in structured text programming.
Understanding of best practices for controls architecture and implementation.
Knowledge of fieldbus systems and implementation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and provide guidance on best practices.
Basic design and implementation of electrical systems for testing or demonstration purposes.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills and understanding of robotic applications.
Proficiency in fabrication using hand tools and machine shop equipment.
Knowledge of best practices in designing and implementing End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT).
Strong focus on quality and customer service.
Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
Positive and professional demeanor with effective relationship-building skills.
Adaptability and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, French, or German preferred.
Capacity to tackle complex technological challenges.
High-level proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office applications.
