Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of complex roadway projects using CAD criteria, MicroStation, Geopak, and Open Roads.
2. Work closely with project teams to ensure design plans meet project objectives, budget, and timeline.
3. Conduct detailed engineering analyses, prepare engineering reports, and develop construction documents.
4. Coordinate with other engineers, designers, and technical staff to ensure seamless integration of project components.
5. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Interact with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address concerns, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and NCDOT design standards.
8. Ensure all designs are in compliance with engineering principles, company standards, client contract requirements, and related specifications.
9. Participate in project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in roadway design and project management.
3. Proficiency in CAD criteria, MicroStation, Geopak, and Open Roads.
4. Experience with NCDOT design standards and procedures.
5. Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, construction methods, and the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world projects.
