We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for the role of Risk Manager. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of risk and insurance within the organization. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the strategic direction of our company, working closely with senior management to develop and implement risk management strategies. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the risk management framework for the organization, ensuring it aligns with company objectives and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards, operational risks, and insurance requirements.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to manage identified risks.
• Oversee the company’s insurance program, including determining coverage needs, negotiating with insurance providers, and managing claims.
• Ensure regulatory compliance by keeping up-to-date with changes in relevant legislation and standards.
• Provide risk management advice and training to staff and contractors to promote a risk-aware culture within the organization.
• Prepare reports on risk management issues for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., legal, finance) to manage risks and ensure alignment of risk management strategies across the organization.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CRM) will be an advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in risk management.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methods and techniques, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and information.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
• Proficiency in risk management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
