Essential functions:

• Record monthly oil & gas revenue & prepare monthly accrual for assigned purchasers
• Prepare and maintain well level allocations for assigned purchasers
• Prepare severance taxes for assigned purchasers and reconcile taxes payable for assigned purchasers
• Assist in the monthly revenue distribution process
• Reconcile purchaser receivables for assigned purchasers
• Prepare assigned account reconciliations
• Help prepare and file necessary reports to government entities
• Provide response/resolution in a timely and thorough manner to all internal and external inquiries
• Comply with internal SOX controls ensuring appropriate documentation for the control requirements

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Understanding of Oil and Gas Accounting principals
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of Accounting experience
• 1-3 years of prior experience in Oil & Gas accounting
