Restaurant Superintendent

We are a growing commercial contractor and are excited to add a Traveling Restaurant Superintendent to assist in our projected growth!

Job Details:
Our company is seeking a highly experienced Restaurant Superintendent with a background in the construction industry. This role is critical to our operations and requires a professional with a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of commercial construction and renovation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and overseeing the construction and refurbishment of restaurants and retail spaces. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including project conception, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
2. Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes.
3. Create and enforce strict schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
5. Meet contractual conditions of performance, providing regular status reports to upper management.
6. Review the work progress on a daily basis, addressing any issues that arise.
7. Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
8. Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
9. Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the standards set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction and renovation, specifically in the restaurant and retail sectors.
2. Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing construction projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
4. Solid understanding of construction operations and processes.
5. Proficiency in site work, including setting out, groundworks, and foundation construction.
6. Experience with tilt wall construction methods.
7. Ability to read and understand complex architectural drawings and specifications.
8. Exceptional leadership and management skills.
9. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Must hold a valid OSHA 30 certification.
12. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
