Job Details:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Permanent Residential HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to our operations as you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both residential customers. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and a proven track record of excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various types of heating and air conditioning systems
• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Guide and advise the customer to select the most appropriate air quality system to fulfill their requirements
• Ensure customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance
• Keep current with the latest HVAC technology trends

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in HVAC or related field
• EPA Type II certification
• Proficient in servicing, troubleshooting, and cleaning of heating and cooling equipment and related products (heat pumps, electric furnaces, air handlers, and filters) among others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• NATE certification is a plus
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proven track record of diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults
• Experience with residential equipment is a must
