We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Sales Manager to join our team. This role is for a professional who has a deep understanding of HVAC, Air Precision, and Liquid Cooling solutions in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, with a special focus on HVAC sales, liquid cooling systems, and air cooling sales. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing strategies, and leading a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, providing coaching, training, and mentoring to ensure team success.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of sales forecast.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Liaise with product development and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the HVAC, Air Precision, Liquid Cooling sector.
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director in the Engineering industry.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise in Carrier, Trane, McQuay, York International, Vertiv, Stulz, APC, Schneider Electric.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
