Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse seeking a rewarding opportunity in the medical industry? We are currently seeking a Permanent Registered Nurse for our Rehabilitation department, open to day-shifts or night-shifts (weekends preferred). This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team and make a difference in the lives of our patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals undergoing rehabilitation. Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout their stay.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient, ensuring their specific needs and goals are addressed.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patients' physical and mental health, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility exercises, promoting independence and self-care.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-rehabilitation care, including medication management, wound care, and lifestyle modifications, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, physical therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in rehabilitation nursing.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, fostering a compassionate and caring atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a rehabilitation setting or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to provide high-quality nursing care, utilizing evidence-based practices and following established protocols.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly identify and respond to changes in patients' conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems.
  • Weekend availability preferred.
  • COVID vaccination required.
  • BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred.

*Day or night shifts available. Weekends preferred.*
