We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in various medical departments, including Med/Surg, Telemetry, ER, L&D, or ICU (no float). You will be working alongside a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals committed to providing the highest level of patient care. Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols, procedures, and standards of care.
2. Monitor and record patient's condition and document provided care services.
3. Treat medical emergencies such as heart attacks, strokes, car accidents, and burns as well as recovering post-operative patients.
4. Administer medications, monitor patient recovery and progress, and educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-hospital treatment.
5. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge.
6. Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results to guide patient treatment.
7. Communicate with doctors, patients, and their families, explaining conditions and treatments.
8. Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families.
9. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Active Registered Nurse License in CA.
2. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
3. Proven experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, ER, L&D, ICU, or equivalent.
4. Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
5. Outstanding ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task.
7. Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work with diverse patient populations and manage their care effectively.
10. BLS/ACLS certification.
11. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
