We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Permanent Regional Sales Manager to join our vibrant Sales team. This exciting role is perfect for an individual with a passion for the wine and spirits industry and a proven track record in sales. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of brands and products, and to play a key part in our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

As our Regional Sales Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned region.
  • Identifying and targeting key accounts, and establishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinating the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Leading, training, and mentoring a team of sales representatives to ensure sales and service objectives are met.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional initiatives and sales campaigns.
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, forecasts, account plans, and territory management activities as required.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends, and making appropriate recommendations that will enhance our company's competitive position and market share.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Regional Sales Manager role will have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of previous wine and spirits sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling to alcohol distributors and wholesalers.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others.
  • A results-driven approach, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts.
  • The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
  • A willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and prospects.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
