Job Details

The full-time position of Regional Sales Manager plays a crucial role in advancing the company's portfolio of brands. The ability to effectively oversee and execute strategic initiatives is vital for enhancing the equity development of the portfolio. This role involves managing a team with multiple direct reports scattered across the region, with a focus on fostering their development and providing training.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate enduring and impactful relationships with strategic customers and distributor partners to generate financial results and execute effective customer and consumer programs.

  • Guide regional sales teams by establishing a shared understanding of goals, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and expected team performance levels. Acknowledge and celebrate both significant and minor team accomplishments.

  • Foster a collaborative culture by working cross-functionally with various departments within the organization (e.g., Finance, Customer Marketing, Marketing National Retail Sales, Manufacturing) to garner support for sales initiatives.

  • Conduct thorough analyses of business trends (e.g., share gaps, category trends, channel performance) and utilize available data (e.g., Nielsen) to pinpoint revenue growth opportunities for Lobos.

  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by taking ownership and accountability for the regional Sales Plan. Establish suitable budgets based on potential return on investments, implement cost-effective methods for optimal performance, and ensure profitability.

  • Engage with key on- and off-premise accounts within the designated area to build strong relationships. Showcase the brands, work towards increased volumes, and lead distributors in achieving objectives.

  • Maintain visibility at the distributor office, conducting meetings with sales representatives and management to ensure consistent pursuit of objectives and strategies.

  • Align with key local events and actively participate where opportunities align with our strategy, including executing national initiatives in the local market.

  • Serve as the primary contact for distributor sales teams, ensuring they are well-informed about local and national objectives and programs, while providing support for all sales-related activities.

  • Actively pursue opportunities to collaborate and engage in co-marketing initiatives with distributors.
