We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Regional Sales Director to join our thriving sales team. This role is a permanent position, requiring up to 80% travel within the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our customer base within their assigned territory. They will lead and motivate a diverse sales team, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded. This role requires a high level of familiarity with PT components (sprockets, gears, sheaves and pulleys) and/or Bulk MH equipment (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors and conveyor pulleys), as well as a proven track record in outside sales.

Responsibilities:
As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned region.
  • Leading and motivating the sales team to achieve specific sales targets.
  • Identifying lucrative sales opportunities and converting them into new business.
  • Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics and implementing improvements where necessary.
  • Keeping abreast of new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on board.
  • Ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Addressing potential problems and suggesting prompt solutions.
  • Participating in decisions for expansion or acquisition.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Regional Sales Director, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven outside sales experience with a successful track record of selling to an established distributor base.
  • Familiarity with PT components (sprockets, gears, sheaves and pulleys) and/or Bulk MH equipment (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors and conveyor pulleys).
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading and motivating diverse teams.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong mathematical skills.
  • A hunter mentality and demonstrated ability to bring in new business.
  • The ability to travel up to 80% within the region.
