Our Global Organization is looking for a dynamic Regional Account Sales Engineer to cover a territory from the Southwest and through the Midwest. You'll work with an existing customer base, as well as bring in new business.
We are an Engineering Company that develops and builds Capital Equipment for the production of high performance microchips. The technically demanding production of the chips takes place in several complex processing steps, in which microstructures are duplicated with high precision. We are specialists in this area. Responsibilities:
- Manage all sales activities for assigned territory/accounts, including Quoting, T&C's, Delivery commitments, issue tracking, escalation and resolution, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain close customer relationships at multiple levels, particularly engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing management.
- Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks.
- Identify and analyze new opportunities and create a tactical plan to capture the business.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Set and track sales targets for assigned territory/account, aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- Provide weekly updates to CRM on active customers/opportunities.
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Identify and develop new customer accounts.
- Represent the company at trade shows to promote products.
Ideal candidate will have:
- B.S. in Engineering or Science and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ Years' experience in sales and/or technical sales support. Preferred to be capital equipment in the semiconductor industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to excel in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple projects.
- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
- Strong business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
- Position requires up to 30% travel with a focus in the USA and will include limited international travel (mainly Germany).
