Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Quality Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of quality are met in our production processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving the quality of our operational processes and outputs, while also developing strategies for continuous improvement. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Management, and Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications.
2. Consistently and effectively communicate with team members and management to ensure that quality standards are understood and met.
3. Oversee the product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.
4. Supervise the inspection of materials, products, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
5. Collaborate with the production team to develop effective corrective and preventive actions when quality issues arise.
6. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
7. Train and mentor staff on new standards and procedures in quality control and continuous improvement.
8. Lead problem-solving and process improvement efforts to ensure effective production processes.
9. Prepare and present reports to highlight the performance of the quality control system for review by the management team.
10. Stay current with relevant quality control and manufacturing best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Supervisor role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience and knowledge in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Management, and Continuous Improvement.
4. Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
5. Excellent knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods and quality control systems.
6. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
8. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) will be considered an advantage.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with statistical analysis software.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of precision.
11. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
