Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic Quality Program Manager to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled team, overseeing the design and development of Food Safety Programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in GFSI, Food Safety, SQF, and USDA Food Plant. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive Quality Assurance Program that aligns with company objectives and meets regulatory requirements.

2. Lead and manage the design and development of Food Safety Programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.

3. Oversee the implementation of GFSI, Food Safety, SQF, and USDA Food Plant standards, providing training and support to staff as necessary.

4. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality and food safety standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as required.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes, proactively implementing necessary updates to the Quality Assurance Program.

7. Manage and respond to customer complaints regarding quality, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures to enhance customer satisfaction.

8. Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of the Quality Assurance Program, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Quality Program Manager role within the Manufacturing industry.

3. Proven experience in the design and development of Food Safety Programs.

4. Strong knowledge of GFSI, Food Safety, SQF, and USDA Food Plant standards.

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.

8. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

9. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software.

10. Certified SQF Practitioner or equivalent is preferred.
