Quality Manufacturing Inspector

To be considered for a Quality Manufacturing Inspector, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• A 2 year technical degree with 3 years of machine shop experience and/or quality experience

OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 7 years experience in a manufacturing or quality environment.
In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.

As a Quality Manufacturing Inspector, you will:

• Function as an aid to the manufacturing process.
• Provide general CMM (primarily Zeiss) inspection support for fabricated or machined parts from various departments as required in the shop.
• Run CMM inspection programs and perform manual inspection for simple and complex parts, components, and assemblies while ensuring the integrity of CMM inspection results.
• Assist machinists in the use and care of inspection equipment, interpretation of drawings and other quality related activities
• Work closely with AIG Programmers, Process Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, manufacturing operation managers and machinists.
