Job Details
1. Lead the Quality Control team to ensure all products meet our rigorous quality standards.
2. Oversee the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
3. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and other relevant quality management systems.
4. Use Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
5. Work closely with the Engineering team to understand product blueprints and schematics.
6. Manage the operation of our plastics manufacturing, extrusion & thermoforming, and injection molding machinery.
7. Conduct regular supplier quality assessments and drive improvements where necessary.
8. Lead the implementation of process improvements to increase product quality and efficiency.
9. Ensure all quality assurance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
10. Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Manager role within the Manufacturing Industry.
2. Proven experience with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Process Improvement.
3. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and other relevant Quality Management Systems.
4. Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement principles.
5. Experience with Plastics Manufacturing, Extrusion & Thermoforming, and Injection Molding Machinery.
6. Strong ability to read and understand engineering blueprints and schematics.
7. Certifications such as CMQ and CQA are highly desirable.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
10. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
