Quality Manager

We are an established food production company, based in Fresno, and currently looking to expand our team.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing sector. This position will play a vital role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products to our customers, while implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HACCP, Food and Beverage, and OSHA regulations, and will be bilingual in English and Spanish. Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications (consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals).
2. Supervise and mentor a team of quality control inspectors.
3. Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
4. Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams.
5. Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
6. Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
7. Create, document, and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
8. Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company.
9. Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout the production cycle.
10. Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
11. Interact with vendors, customers, and company staff to ensure the stringent quality requirements of manufactured products are met.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Quality Management in a manufacturing environment.
3. Must have experience with HACCP, Food and Beverage, and OSHA regulations.
4. Proven experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
6. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, QA applications, and databases.
7. Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA.
8. Solid experience in effective usage of data analysis tools and statistical analysis.
9. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies.
10. Understanding of cost and financial impacts.
11. Ability to design and implement quality control standards.
12. Strong leadership, team building, and advanced coaching skills.
13. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
