Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
- Effectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
- Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
- Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
- Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements.
- Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures.
- Writing management and technical reports and customers’ charters.
- Determining relevant quality associated training needs and delivering training.
- Collating and analyzing performance data against defined parameters.
- Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
- Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks, often in a laboratory environment.
- Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures.
- Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods.
- Directing objectives to maximize profitability.
- Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information.
- Monitoring performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
- Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, CQI, and other relevant quality control standards.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry, rubber manufacturing industry, metal industry, and molded products.
- Proficiency in welding, coating, and machining processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or similar certification is a plus.
