Job Details:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality are met in our manufacturing processes. The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control, lean manufacturing, process improvement, flexible packaging, and quality assurance. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar position. Experience with films, lamination and sustainable packaging highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring the company’s quality systems and policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
2. Effectively interact with the production team to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
3. Lead the quality assurance function to ensure product quality, factory adherence to standards, and continuous improvement of processes.
4. Oversee the quality control department's daily workflow, assignments, and scheduling to ensure that production deadlines and quality standards are met.
5. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
6. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
7. Investigate customer complaints regarding quality and take appropriate measures to correct deficiencies.
8. Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
9. Manage and maintain the company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.
10. Train and lead a team of quality control technicians to ensure high-performance standards are met.
11. Work closely with suppliers and customers to improve product quality and resolve quality issues.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Quality Manager role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in Quality Control, Lean Manufacturing, Process Improvement, Flexible Packaging, and Quality Assurance.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Proficient in using quality control software and methodologies.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
10. Certification in Quality Control is a plus.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
