Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our dynamic team in the steel fabrication industry. This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about quality control, assurance, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our quality management system, ensuring that our products and services meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire quality control process for the manufacturing unit.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a quality assurance system that aligns with the company's business strategy.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9000 standards and drive continuous improvement in quality performance.
• Utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) for part inspection and validation.
• Handle PAPP (Production Part Approval Process) paperwork, ensuring all production parts meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Develop and manage Control Plans, Flow Charts, and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) to ensure process efficiency and product quality.
• Work closely with the production team to identify potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the quality of raw materials and finished products.
• Provide training and guidance to the quality assurance team.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality concerns and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality management role in the manufacturing industry, preferably with metal fabricator experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, ISO 9000, CMM, PAPP paperwork, Control Plans, Flow Charts, and APQP.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and a result-driven approach.
