Quality Engineer

As our Quality Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
2. Collaborating with manufacturing teams to develop strategies for improving efficiency and reducing waste.
3. Leading root cause analysis investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
4. Conducting audits, creating reports, and communicating findings to management and other stakeholders.
5. Ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and IATF16949 quality management systems.
6. Training and guiding staff in quality improvement initiatives.
7. Reviewing customer requirements and ensuring they are met in the final product.
8. Participating in cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvements.
9. Coordinating with suppliers and customers relating to quality trends, performance, and corrective action.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficient knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF16949 quality management systems.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead teams in root cause analysis investigations.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
7. Solid organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
9. Experience with statistical analysis and statistical quality control.
