Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position where you will be an integral part of our Engineering division. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our quality systems to ensure our products meet or exceed customer expectations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and has a strong background in quality engineering within the manufacturing and aerospace sectors.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality engineering protocols and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and performance.
3. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all design and manufacturing processes.
5. Lead supplier quality audits and develop strategies to improve supplier performance.
6. Ensure compliance with quality management systems such as AS9100 and ISO9001.
7. Monitor and control the quality of products and processes in compliance with ASME standards.
8. Provide quality engineering support and guidance to the manufacturing team.
9. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and implement solutions.
10. Develop and deliver training on quality standards and best practices to team members and suppliers.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in the manufacturing or aerospace industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
4. Proficient in quality management systems, specifically AS9100 and ISO9001.
5. Strong understanding of ASME standards.
6. Proven experience in supplier quality management.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus.
