Quality Control Manager - Federal

We are a well respected general contractor head quartered in the Midwest, with multiple offices across the country. We have built in just about every type of construction there is. We are looking to add an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for our federal and healthcare construction projects. As well as oversee all facets of quality on whole projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage the quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications.
2. Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
3. Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
4. Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams.
5. Design, develop and implement quality control training programs.
6. Oversee the investigation and resolution of customer complaints regarding quality.
7. Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
8. Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout the production cycle.
9. Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
10. Interact with vendors to ensure the quality of all purchased parts.
11. Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
12. Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction quality control.
3. Proficiency in Procore and other construction management software.
4. Comprehensive understanding of quality control systems in the construction industry.
5. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Previous Federal or DOD project experience is highly desirable.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction plans.
9. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
10. Ability to analyze, identify and implement improvements to processes.
11. Strong understanding of safety and building codes, regulations, and inspection compliance.
12. Certified Professional Constructor (CPC), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or similar certification is highly desirable.
