Job Details
As a Quality Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our high standards of quality and safety. Please note that this is a short term position expected to last about 1 year. Lodging and food per diems will be provided.

Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing quality and safety management for construction projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Maintaining a consistent presence on-site to monitor progress and enforce quality control measures.
- Serving as the primary authority for all quality control matters, capable of making decisive actions to ensure contract adherence.
- Upholding the high standards set by the VA Government, as detailed in specification 014500 3.4.
- Ensuring the quality control staff is always at full capacity, managing any necessary organizational changes effectively.
Qualifications:
- A degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management (REQUIRED)
- A minimum of 5 years of construction experience, preferably in projects similar in scope to this contract.
- Exceptional management skills, with the ability to oversee quality control aspects comprehensively.
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer or Authorized designee.
