Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager to join our dynamic construction team. This is a permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in construction safety, quality control, and inspection, coupled with a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our quality control procedures, from the initial planning stages to the final acceptance inspection.

Responsibilities:

As a Quality Control Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Implementing and maintaining our Construction Quality Control (CQC) System, ensuring all projects meet the necessary requirements and standards.
2. Conducting regular site inspections, identifying any potential issues and taking corrective action as necessary.
3. Providing safety training to all construction staff, promoting a culture of safety awareness across the organization.
4. Reporting on the status of quality control activities, presenting data and findings to senior management.
5. Conducting final acceptance inspections, validating the quality of work and ensuring compliance with all specifications.
6. Ensuring compliance with OSHA 30, EM-385, and other relevant safety standards.
7. Collaborating with NAVFAC and USACE, ensuring all projects meet their specific requirements.
8. Promoting sustainable construction practices, adhering to LEED Green standards where possible.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in quality control, construction safety, and inspection.
3. Strong knowledge of the CQC System and other quality control procedures.
4. Experience in conducting safety training and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
5. Proficiency in reporting and presenting data on quality control activities.
6. Experience in conducting final acceptance inspections and ensuring compliance with all specifications.
7. Knowledge of OSHA 30, EM-385, Construction Quality Management, and other relevant safety standards.
8. Experience working with LEED Green, NAVFAC, and USACE is highly desirable.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
11. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
