Quality Assurance Meat Technician-Bilingual-Relocation Offered

A leading Specialty Food Manufacturer in North America who is family-owned is looking for an experienced Bilingual Quality Assurance Technician to join their growing team! They are a sustainable company that believes in supporting the local community

The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and has at least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance in the food industry. Ideal experience would be with poultry processing but will consider candidates with other food manufacturing experience, ideally in Poultry.

This is a fully onsite position and we're open to candidates that can relocate quickly.

This role ensures that the quality control program is being maintained in the plant and that the production of products is consistent with established standards by performing the following duties in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.



What you'll be doing:

• Directly monitors process adherence to FSIS food safety regulatory requirements.
• Oversees and conducts daily implementation and verification of all HACCP activities.
• Inspects criteria and procedures during slaughter, evisceration, packing.
• Oversees and conducts and oversees process quality data verification collection through the process.
• Conducts statistical data collection from sizing to finish product verification.
• Conducts processing data collection for company research department.
• Participate in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Participates in quality management teams within the organization.
• Under the supervision of the QA Manager, investigates customer complaints regarding quality.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemical Engineering or similar field
• Bilingual in Spanish (Required)
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Must be able to work independently and with a team at times.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts inside plant floor. Constant exposure to temperatures that bring heat and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.
• The ability to move 25 pounds alone and over 25 pounds with assistance constantly.
• Constant uses a machinery or hand tool with hands throughout entire shift.
• Constant mobility on feet
