Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional with a strong background in procurement and supply chain management? The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing a comprehensive range of procurement and supply chain activities, including budgeting, logistics management, cost analysis, inventory management, and supplier relationship management. Responsibilities:

As the Purchasing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our company's operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to meet the company's business objectives.
2. Managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
3. Overseeing supply chain management to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products from suppliers to our manufacturing facilities.
4. Preparing and managing budgets, monitoring expenditure, and implementing cost-saving measures.
5. Managing logistics operations, coordinating the storage, transportation, and delivery of goods.
6. Conducting cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
7. Managing inventory levels to meet production needs and minimize stock holding costs.
8. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and resolving any issues or disputes.
9. Implementing supplier performance evaluation systems to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
10. Keeping abreast of market trends, changes in business practices in the assigned markets, new or altered types of materials entering the market, etc.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 8+ years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in procurement, supply chain management, budgeting, logistics management, cost analysis, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
3. A strong track record in implementing cost-saving measures and improving operational efficiency.
4. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
6. Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
8. Proficiency in relevant software applications, including inventory management and procurement systems.
9. A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
