Are you an experienced Property Accounting Manager with a knack for solving complex financial puzzles? Do you have a passion for real estate and a deep understanding of the mortgage industry? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Property Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in property management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of properties, providing key financial insights and contributing to our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

As a Property Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:

1. Overseeing all aspects of property accounting, including A/R, Accounts Payable, Cash Handling, and Account Management.
2. Preparing and reviewing lender reports, budget variances, and KPI reporting.
3. Utilizing Yardi and Pay Scan software to manage and track financial data.
4. Conducting regular bank settlements and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
5. Collaborating with property management teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
6. Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records in SharePoint.
7. Analyzing financial reports and identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
8. Contributing to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting or a related field.
2. Proficiency in property management software, particularly Yardi and Pay Scan.
3. Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, including multifamily and single-family properties.
4. Exceptional Excel skills, including the ability to create complex formulas and pivot tables.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
7. A detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
