Project Superintendent - Civil Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

As a Superintendent - Infrastructure, you will be tasked with:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with project specifications.
2. Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the construction site, including supervision of staff, engineers, subcontractors, and trades.
3. Coordinating and supervising all construction activities, ensuring all safety regulations and quality control measures are adhered to.
4. Directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
5. Preparing, scheduling, and coordinating job site activities, including material and equipment deliveries.
6. Communicating effectively with project team members, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
7. Monitoring project progress, addressing any issues that arise, and ensuring the project stays within the allocated budget and timeline.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent in the construction industry (Heavy Civil, Marine, and Concrete)
2. Extensive experience in site supervision, heavy civil, concrete, marine construction, and material control.
3. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and directing teams.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
5. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Knowledge of construction procedures, building laws, and regulations.
7. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
